Driver Trainer

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) delivers packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We're looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team training AMZL Drivers on package delivery and vehicle operation. As a Delivery Trainer, you will train Drivers on safe driving practices and high quality customer service when delivering packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery locations. In this position you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed customer expectations and make sure customer orders, large or small, are delivered on time at the right place.

General Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Operations Managers, Dispatchers, and Area Managers to coordinate, facilitate, and measure training related activities

  • Track performance and provide identified retraining and process improvement opportunities

  • Support standard work and safety programs

  • Lead all learning and operational audits

  • Facilitate daily training classes for up to 20 people, including in station classes and ride alongs

Job Requirements:

  • 21+ years of age

  • Possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence

  • Must be able to travel to multiple sites within 50 miles of the home station and have reliable transportation

  • Ability to operate and navigate a 10,000 pounds or less van

  • Ability to effectively operate a GPS

  • Ability to give and receive feedback

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 Sport Club Athletic Trainer - 500094 SUMMARY: The Sport Club Athletic Trainer will be present at home events and evaluate, manage and treat injuries incurred by Sport Club members. Additional clinic hours may be scheduled to treat injuries. This is a temporary position scheduled as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide athletic training coverage to clubs as assigned by Head Athletic Trainer * Evaluate, manage and treat injuries incurred by student Sport Club members. Direct appropriate follow-up treatment or evaluation to the appropriate personnel (Student Health Center, Physical Therapy, etc) * Communicate the medical status of athletes with appropriate personnel * Maintain knowledge and observe standard of care and regulations to minimize the risk of transmission on blood-borne pathogens * Complete and maintain comprehensive legal records associated with injury, evaluation, treatment and referral or all athletes under direct care * Maintain and supply inventory for first aid kits and first aid and medical supplies * Report to events 30 minutes before actual start time * Confirm a club Safety Officer is in attendance at all events * Confirm all members participating are on club roster and have signed the hold harmless clause * Complete an injury report anytime a club member is injured * Maintain good standing as a member of the University of Richmond community and abide by the University, and Recreation and Wellness policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: * Current National Athletic Trainer's Association certification required * Licensed to practice in the state of Virginia required * Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification required * Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university required WORK HOURS: * Part-time, temporary, non-exempt position * Schedule may vary, but generally M/W 9-11 AM, F 2-4 PM; Weekends based on game schedules up to 12 additional hours SALARY STRUCTURE: The hourly rate for this temporary position will be $30.00 per hour.
