Position Title: Driver Recruiter

Position Reports to: Director of Recruiting

Position Summary:
Under general supervision, recruits experienced and student over the road, regional, dedicated drivers, rehires and Hub drivers. Maintains standards as outlined by West Side Transport policy and standards in regards to hiring of drivers.

Essential Functions and


1.Use provided marketing material to generate interest from provided applicants along with generating your own additional leads.
2.Visit truck school classrooms giving presentations on our student training programs.
3.Handle inbound and outbound phone calls from potential drivers concerning possible employment with West Side and inform drivers of the available positions based on their experience and hiring zones.
4.Pre-qualify drivers to ensure they meet West Side's minimum qualifications and hiring guidelines by conducting phone interviews, completing the driver's application, reviewing job history, background checks, moving violations, and accidents for all potential drivers.
5.Finalize the hiring process by scheduling the driver for orientation and organize arrangements for travel and lodging. Verify travel and assist orientation coordinator.
6.Work with other departments to review questionable applicants.
7.Assists with various company projects involving competitors' information gathering, driver retention efforts, company morale projects and company public relations events.
8.Track call and application advertising sources and assist with the advertising placement for driver recruiting as requested.
9.Performs other related duties as assigned.
10. Handle all driver issues as they arise during the orientation process.

Qualification Requirements:

Education and Experience: Previous experience in recruiting or call center. Knowledge of hiring procedures, DOT regulations and the transportation industry a plus.

Reasoning Ability: Capable of using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to work in a fast paced sales environment.

Must have good computer skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Build relationships and rapport with current and future employees.

Physical Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Long periods of sitting and use of telephone and PC required.

In addition, you will also support the other sector GDDs through the provision of expertise to help develop their client opportunities. This role will form an integral part of the Adecco Group Professional Staffing team, which ultimately reports into the Adecco UK Group Professional Staffing President. The primary objective of the Group Development Director - (GDD) role will be to maximise the volume of new business secured for Adecco Group across the UK. By working closely with all areas of the Adecco UK Group companies at all levels within the organisation, the GDD will proactively identify new opportunities within a new client portfolio that have a requirement for staffing solutions utilising the Adecco Group Professional Staffing brands and then go on to develop a sales strategy to convert these opportunities into Group wins. Given the complexity of the solutions and relationships with clients at this level, you will have first-hand working experience and understanding of the target industry sectors operational delivery requirements and will be able to build and sustain senior level relationships over an extended period of time. The GDD must be able to demonstrate added value to these executive relationships by helping them to shape the optimum staffing solution, and ultimately the bidding process that follows. The GDD will drive new business sales and development utilising the Groups professional capability, whilst ensuring that its delivery is in line with company objectives and strategy. You will be an experienced networker at a senior level. The focus is on client intimacy and pre-engagement, therefore the relationships and business opportunities will be maintained even in the absence of tender activity. To support this activity, you will build and maintain a strong relationship with the Adecco Group network of the colleagues across all brands and business areas. The role will be responsible for creating a comprehensive sales strategy for each target area of the professional brands that supports the overall UK Group business strategies. As an ambassador for the wider Adecco Group, as well as an advocate for the Adecco business, you will be required to refer and promote the range of services and individual specialist brands/businesses we offer. In addition, you will be responsible for facilitating the knowledge base across the Group by sharing customer data and profiling information. You will therefore need to build strong internal relationships across the Group and demonstrate sound influencing and diplomacy skills. This role will require you to travel within the UK, therefore a valid driving licence will be essential. Experience and Key Responsibilities: Current business development and direct experience working within the professional staffing environment at executive level with a demonstrable track record of identifying unique solutions for clients. You must be comfortable and up to date with industry trends and be able to contribute and lead discussions - whilst understanding how these shape new growth opportunities. You will have proven and tangible evidence of winning business and developing and nurturing client relationships at HR Manager, Procurement Manager and Executive level and will also have a comprehensive knowledge of the UK professional staffing environment. You will have experience of winning enterprise level opportunities (?20 million plus MSP and 500+ per annum hires RPO) across RPO and MSP and have a fundamental understanding of the Total Talent agenda and be able to demonstrate credible insight and advise when engaging with potential customers for Adecco and their brands. As the role relates to identifying opportunities for Group professional brands, you must be able to demonstrate solid experience of planning, strategising and opportunity qualification to ensure that the Adecco Group targets are met. You will have solid experience of working within a team environment, as well as the ability to self motivate and generate proactive business activity. Key Responsibilities: ? To drive new client sales activities in the professional staffing client portfolio. ? High level client networking. ? Design and undertake client workshops to further client engagement and advance solutioning process. ? Relationship management of named client prospects as well as generating greater client networks. ? Utilisation of to manage the end to end sales process. ? Prioritise and focus the work effort to maximise the market opportunity and revenue potential of new opportunities. ? Possess and be able to clearly articulate and credibly sell the full Adecco Group tool kit of products and solutions including modular components (EC Model, PES, Onboarding etc.). ? Capture client opportunities and shepherd these through the bid and solutioning process. ? Create supporting Powerpoint presentations. ? Work with Commercial Finance to ensure all bids are subject to the appropriate financial modelling and legal sign-offs. ? Building senior client relationships in order to ensure account development and growth. Raising the profile of Adecco Group companies within the client community and ensuring that the number and level of client contacts is appropriate to support delivery of the annual sales plan. ? Represent the business and be viewed as the guardian of the brand values and capable of articulating in a lucid fashion the USPs of each solution and the Adecco Group - especially in relation to competitors perceived abilities. To be regarded as a first rate negotiator capable of closing bids and pitches to gain new business opportunities for the Group.
