Job Description

Location: 119-Southern Utah Veterans Home - Ivins, St. George, UT, 84738

Job Summary:

The Driver-PRN is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to residents of the Southern Utah Veterans Home. The Driver-PRN will operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and buses, to transport residents to and from medical appointments, recreational activities, and other destinations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations

• Assist residents with boarding and exiting vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, and trip logs

• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment as required

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and buses

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
