Regular home time. Stand-by pay for extended loading and unloading duration.
Drivers average 2500 to 3000 miles per week.
Competitive pay; @ .50 cents per mile with HAZMAT Certification; .48 cents per mile without HAZMAT.
Over the Road (OTR) Truck Drivers will pick up shipments and transport them to their destination in an efficient timeline. OTR's are required to haul a variety of materials following regulations, which may include hazardous materials. Responsible for following all company safety policies and all traffic and transportation rules, norms and laws.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Transport various types of materials from shipper to receiver as dispatched by the Transportation Manager.
Obtain proper documentation for all shipments.
Follow all federal and local laws that pertain to the transportation industry.
Ensure that all technology available is being utilized, along with staying current on all certifications.
Meet the demands of a growing company often requiring willingness and understanding that loads change due to product needs.
In addition to following all laws related to the transportation industry, must represent the Company well by maintaining a polite and calm driving style while sharing the road with other cars and drivers.

Current Class A license with Hazardous Materials Endorsement.
Meets compliance with Federal Safety Requirements.
Must pass DOT physical and drug testing.
Pass a background check.
Experience: 1+ years of experience highly desired.
Education: Must maintain a Class A license with Hazardous Materials Endorsement.
Responsibility: Transporting cargo in a safe and responsible manner. Ability to manage self and exercise sound judgment on the road, including getting enough sleep, 100% sobriety while working without fail, avoiding "road rage" and maintaining the highest level of responsibility of standards with safety, licensing and adherence to laws.
Complexity of duties: Ability to read and interpret maps, work independently and adhere to safety.
Supervision received: Direct oversight by the Transportation Manager.
Supervision exercised: None.
Working conditions: Sitting for long periods while driving and (un)loading of trucks. Therefore, able to work long hours in a seated position. Variety of weather and road conditions. Risk of possible injury.
Mental and physical demands: Capable of meeting fluxuating and sometime frustrating demands of a growing company. Patience with other drivers on the road. Excellent eyesight with or without accommodation. Sitting, standing, climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, speaking, and listening.
Confidential data: Access to intellectual property which must remain confidential and cannot be reproduced.
Travel requirements: 100% of the time.
