Job Description
The Water Driver is responsible for the day-to-day transporting of injection site well water to and from specified locations in a safe and compliant manner. The locations are, at times, in remote areas which require the driver to be comfortable driving tanker/water trucks in a variety of environments and across diverse terrain. Contingent upon qualification, Drivers may operate heavy equipment including front-end loaders, backhoes, graders and excavators.
Duties and Responsibilities (Essential functions are identified in bold and italicized text below.)
Must work safely at all times.
Perform accurate timekeeping in HR management system and submit on time per payroll deadlines.
Operate truck and accomplish water deliveries in a safe manner at all times.
On a daily basis, conduct vehicle inspections, complete driver's logs, and submit requisite paperwork. At all times, practice strict adherence to DOT requirements.
Collect, organize and submit delivery bills of lading in a complete, timely, and accurate fashion.
Serve as a positive representative of NGL, providing proactive customer service.
Maintain clean and professional appearance of vehicle at all times.
Notify supervisor immediately of any vehicle safety concerns.
Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Perform scheduled deliveries in accordance with specified timeframe.
Perform relief assignments for collection as required.
May operate heavy equipment in the loading, hauling, and unloading of equipment, materials, and supplies.
May complete construction or excavation work to move or level dirt and surface materials at jobsites.
If assigned to operate heavy equipment, clean and perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, referring defects or necessary repairs to the supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated basic computer skills required for use of email, Driver log and time entry, and use of the employee HRIS portal as needed.
Demonstrated history of excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Reliability working a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays; ability to work overtime as necessary.
Commitment to working safely and following established policies & procedures.
Demonstrated ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.
Demonstrated history to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers.
Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team and at times without direct supervision.
Keen attention to details.
History of punctuality and reliability to coworkers.
Demonstrated ability to maintain composure under pressure and to be a positive representative of the Company.
Flexibility and adaptability to modify plans and behavior when necessary.
Experience/Education
Must be 21+ years of age.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker (N) endorsement is required.
Must have and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
1+ years of Class A CDL Tanker or water hauling driving experience is required.
3+ years of Class A CDL experience is preferred.
SafeLand/PEC certification is required. (This may be obtained upon job offer.)
Applicants with experience operating heavy equipment and knowledge of traffic regulations for heavy equipment operation may be preferred (varies by location).
Success working in a fast-paced environment.
Travel
Drivers travel to a variety of worksites within their assigned region daily; out of town or overnight travel would not be a regular expectation for this role.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work requires physical efforts associated with using the computer and phones to access information.

Compensation Range
Hourly: $24.00 - $24.00
