Exela Technologies is looking to fill a Driver-Mail Services position in Research Triangle Park, NC. The shift for this position will be 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, working Monday Friday.

So what will you actually be doing?

With a strong attention to detail, this role will facilitate a variety of tasks to ensure high levels of customer service in a fast paced environment

A Driver's daily tasks will involve:

  • Operate a vehicle whose gross vehicle weight exceeds 10,001 lbs. (i.e. Cube Truck, 24 - 26 ft. Straight Truck)

  • Perform all scheduled and unscheduled pickups and deliveries on campus utilizing company vehicle

  • Pick-up and deliver parcels, packages and other items to customers within established timeframes and service standards

  • Lift large bundles of packages and shipments

  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude

  • Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment

  • Participate in cross-training and perform other duties as assigned

  • Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; strong attention to detail

  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines

The following is required:

  • Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of driving, courier, or delivery experience

  • Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Must be 21 years old

  • Valid Driver's license and ability to pass MVR

  • Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Certification Physical

  • Willingness and availability to work additional hours if assigned

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

DescriptionPURPOSE Provide project related support and assistance for assigned projects and project teams by assisting in related procedures and performing tasks associated with the protocol phases; ensure work is conducted in line with standard operating procedures, policies and good practice; and lead project close-outs processes as required. RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and maintain project documentation files and update and maintain internal databases with project specific information. * Perform technical reviews and feedback comments and changes to project managers. * Participate in external and internal audits. * Maintain effective systems for project documentation. * Develop and present information effectively to internal & external audiences, where the information is specific to the role and protocol, such as lessons learned, audits and sharing best practices (e.g. department training). * Liaise with study Sponsor as required. * Submit revision requests and/or budget re-pricing requests on behalf of the Project Manager; recognize budget impact of change to project scope and may communicate budget change impacts to client. * May provide back-up to the Project Manager in periods of the Project Manager's absence from the office. * Contribute to process improvement initiatives. * Review quotes with Sales Representatives. * Create Project Overview Document (POD) that translates Quote into Workable Actions in the Lab. * Set up Project in LIMS database. * Review data to ensure it meets internal QC requirements. * Liaise with Business Development, Assay Managers, and other teams to discuss and troubleshoot issues as they arise. * Deliver initial, intermediate, final data to Clients. * Prepare custom client reports, Study Plans and Study Reports as needed. * Manage all phases of the project to meet client expectations and ensure client satisfaction. * Single point of contact for entire project. * Manage 25-30 projects at a time. * Client facing role. Job Requirements REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Good organizational and operational skills. * Good accuracy and attention to detail skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language. * Computer proficiency in word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications. * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment highly desirable. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients. * Knowledge of Quintiles Laboratories processes and computer systems (includingQLIMS, QLIMS2000, QNET) helpful.
