UPS is hiring individuals to work as temporary, seasonal Driver Helpers. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. It requires excellent customer contact skills and a lot of walking.

As a Driver Helper you will not drive the delivery vehicle but assist the driver in the delivery of packages.

Driver Helpers usually meet the UPS driver at a mutually agreed upon time and location each weekday. Workdays can vary (Monday Friday) or (Tuesday Saturday) depending on the building needs.

Hours vary but usually begin after 8:00 a.m. and end before 8:00 p.m. Driver Helpers must comply with UPS appearance guidelines.

Driver Helper seasonal opportunities are typically between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday time period.

The "California Conditional Release Program" provides intensive community supervision and behavioral health services to adult sexual offenders who are on court-ordered conditional release in communities throughout the State of California. The program is managed by Liberty Healthcare Corporation – an organization experienced in the treatment and monitoring of sexual offenders and other specialized forensic populations. As a result of program growth, Liberty Healthcare is currently hiring for multiple newly-created "Case Manager / Driver" positions throughout the region. These are part-time positions which will work on an as needed basis. Liberty Healthcare's Case Manager/Drivers are primarily responsible for driving adult sex offender clients to therapy, medical and other appointments throughout the region. Additional responsibilities will include: * Monitoring client behaviors * Monitoring client's compliance with court-mandated terms of release * Maintaining regular contact with clients, clients' families, treatment providers, employers and various other stakeholders * Promoting and facilitating pro-social activities and behaviors with clients Liberty offers $25.00 per hour plus reimbursement for mileage expenses.
