We need Driver Helpers to help our CDL Drivers with loading equipment onto the trucks, guiding them to the various types of aircraft and moving equipment from the truck to the airplane galley according to the customer guidelines and safety regulations.

Driver Helpers earn $20.71 per hour and are paid weekly. Driver Helpers must have a valid Driver's License.

  • 6:00AM-2:30PM
  • 7:00AM-3:30PM
  • 8:00AM-4:30PM
  • 9:00AM-5:30PM
  • 10:00AM-6:30PM
  • 3:00PM-11:30PM
  • 4:00PM-12:30AM

Please keep in mind: Our workforce needs to remain flexible in your shifts and days off, as your schedule may fluctuate during peak seasons to meet production needs, requirements of the industry or to accommodate a shift bid in accordance with the Union contract.

All Employees:

  • Pay the one-time union initiation fee of $500.00. The initiation fee is deducted into smaller payments.

  • Pay the monthly union dues of $62.13. This amount automatically deducts from your pay check the first pay period and starts 60 days after your first day on the job.

  • Works assigned schedule which may include multiple shifts, weekends and holidays.

  • Works overtime when required.

  • Arrives to work on-time.

  • Handles fish, beef, pork, poultry and other food products.

  • Completes paperwork.

  • Communicating with supervisors and co-workers.

  • Follows directions.

  • Works as a member of a team.

Environmental Requirements:

  • Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise.

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds.

  • Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the Lead Cook or Nutrition Services Manager, the Kitchen Helper coordinates meal services in the Day Health Center. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: * 1. Assists cooks to prepare center meals and other foods as necessary to complete meals. Portions individual items as necessary and readies any special requests prior to service. Serves food to participants in the dining room and dishes and delivers food to the participants at home. Packages and ships meals and supplements to be delivered to participants at home. * 2. Follows all safety policies and procedures. Demonstrates safe practices by utilizing proper body mechanics, adhering to universal precautions, and maintaining environmental safety. * 3. Follows all infection control and sanitation policies and procedures, including but not limited to proper food handling, storage, and service and cleaning. * 4. Other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (knowledge, skills, abilities): * 1. Interest, demonstrated ability and/or experience in working with the elderly, and an understanding of the nutritional needs and preferences of our participants. * 2. Minimum of one year related experience preferred. * 3. One-year experience working with the elderly or frail population required. * 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. * 5. Dependable, alert, flexible and creative. * 6. Bilingual English/ Spanish pref. * 7. Physical activities require the ability to stoop, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear, and repetitive motions of the wrist and hands. * 8. Physical requirements include visual acuity and the ability to lift /move up to 75 pounds occasionally, and up to 50 pounds frequently.
