Who You Are:

We are seeking candidates who are customer service oriented and take great pride in serving others in a caring and professional manner. The Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transporting of residents to appointments and/or various locations in the Austin area.

Must have a clean driving record.

CDL class B passenger endorsement is preferred.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Monday

• Friday 8:00am

• 4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Will transport residents to appointments in and around Austin or other locations in the central Texas area; including doctor appointments, grocery stores, etc.

• Will transport Health Center residents to appointments, and pick up new residents from the hospital or other location, therefore, this position will be responsible for driving the Wheelchair van and assisting residents into and out of the van.

• The Driver is responsible for routine maintenance, safety inspection and cleaning of the assigned vehicles.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a bus/van driver required; CDL preferred.
