Position Purpose: Professionally deliver product orders to customers. Perform necessary tasks to prepare customer orders for delivery or shipment. Assist in receiving, inspection and documentation of incoming product shipments. Assists in loading and unloading of truck manually, operates equipment to load, unload and stage customer product. Work as part of team to maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment.

Perform pre-delivery duties; locate, stage and set-up product for scheduled delivery.
Review delivery schedule and route prior to leaving the warehouse, obtain driving directions if necessary.
Assess what equipment is necessary for the day's deliveries and make sure everything required is in the truck.
All deliveries require the receipt signature of the recipient and signed delivery paperwork turned into the warehouse office personnel daily.
Product that is returned to the warehouse must be labeled with a Disposition sheet, and warehouse supervisor notified of returned product.
Assist with receiving incoming shipments from manufacturers, inspect all cartons, verify quantity of product received and note all overages, shortages and damage on the carrier's paperwork.
Initiate freight claim paperwork for damaged cartons/product received. Damaged carton/product must be red-flagged, documented and brought to the attention of the Warehouse Supervisor before the end of the day.
Prepare product being returned to the manufacturer and make sure it is packaged properly and shipped back in a timely manner.
Relocate incoming product from receiving bay to assigned location, either manually or equipment assisted. Shipments received must be relocated to the storage location prior to the end of the same business day.
Assist warehouse team in daily maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities interior and exterior areas.
Perform all work in a safe manner and professional manner complying with the Company and warehouse safety guidelines.
Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Union member of Carpenters District Council of Greater St. Louis Local No. 1310 in good standing.
Class E Chauffeurs license required.
Customer -oriented, ability to provide excellent customer service.
General knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment including fork lift, reach trucks, and hand trucks.
Basic reading and math skills.
Punctual in arriving to work on time and reliable in attendance.
Available for mandatory overtime when prescribed by Supervisor or Operations Manager.
Team player and promote a positive work environment.
Favorable driving record and adherence to Company safe driving regulations.
Must pass drug/alcohol test.
Results of background check must be favorable.
Ability to bend, reach, lift and carry 75 lbs frequently during the work day.
Have reliable transportation to the warehouse location every work day.
Capable of understanding and following all Company safety policies.
Work productively with little or no supervision.
