First Due Movers is a full-service professional moving company founded in 2009 by three East side firemen. The fire service traditions of attention to detail, professionalism, and dedication to selfless service is be instilled into and delivered by all members of the organization, whether or not they are members of a fire department. Our mission is to change the way people view the moving industry, and the first step in that process is hiring great people to join or reputable and high-performing team.

In the Mover position, 80% of your work will relate to moving, 20% of your work will relate to packing.

  • Assist with loading/unloading moving trucks
  • Efficient prepping, loading, and unloading of customer's belongings
  • Dismantling/assembling furniture
  • Packing and labeling of client's office and/or household items
  • Optional travel within the lower 48 states for interstate moves
  • Remain safety-conscious at all times
  • Provide a friendly demeanor and outstanding service for our customers


  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma/ GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Positive and up-beat attitude
  • Reliable transportation to warehouse in Preston, WA
  • Ability to lift/carry 100 pounds
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong work ethic with the drive to go above and beyond
  • Maintain great customer service and a friendly demeanor


  • $20.50/hour starting wage in the Mover position
  • $25.50/hour starting wage when promoting to Driver position (3+ months of experience required)
  • Annual performance-based raises
  • Earn an average of $500- $1000+ in tips per month

Are you looking to be a part of a growing team that values respect, integrity, collaboration, and fun?</p><p>The driver is responsible for picking up and delivering products for clients; inspect general condition of vehicle; prepare, load, unload, operate, and clean vehicle including following all safety precautions in accordance with SGWS and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. Review standing orders, develop sales, process payments, and maintain records.</p><p>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:</p><ul><li><p>Drive established route to pick up or deliver products to assigned locations.</p></li><li><p>Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle prior to commencing route.</p></li><li><p>Always adhere to safe and courteous operation of delivery vehicle.</p></li><li><p>Complete all required paperwork daily, including Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).</p></li><li><p>Report to work in adherence to company uniform standards (e.g., neat, clean, and properly attired).</p></li><li><p>Adhere to all Safety regulations and perform all duties in a safe manner.</p></li><li><p>Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary documents to transport goods.</p></li><li><p>Load and unloaded cargo make sure safety equipment is being utilized.</p></li><li><p>Ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements.</p></li><li><p>Communicate changes to delivery schedules, delays, arrivals and/or equipment problems as encountered</p></li><li><p>Follow/adhere to all traffic laws.</p></li><li><p>Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment tidy and in good working order.</p></li><li><p>Perform other related duties as assigned.</p></li><li><p>Comply with SEKO's C-TPAT Security Profile.</p></li><li><p>Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30 pm, with needed flexibility, at times, and some Saturdays will be necessary, and overtime is sometimes mandatory and required.</p></li></ul><p>REQUIREMENTS:</p><ul><li><p>Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills to process large numbers of deliveries.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills - written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions.</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience with GPS navigation technology and knowledge of delivery area and alternate routes</p></li></ul><p>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</p><ul><li><p>High school diploma/GED and 2-5 years driving experience in a distribution environment.</p></li><li><p>Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).</p></li><li><p>Must be Department of Transportation (DOT) certified.</p></li><li><p>Experience with route delivery/driving.</p></li></ul><p>SEKO Logistics does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor</p><br> Seko Worldwide, Inc.
