Kemps has immediate job openings for dependable CDL-A delivery truck drivers to operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently and manually unload/deliver various dairy products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. SCHEDULE: varies based on route, Monday-Saturday operation

  • Valid Class-A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record

  • Ability to push, pull and lift up to 55 pounds

  • Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays.

Schedules routine preventative maintenance and necessary repairs of Hospital vehicles; verifies accuracy of maintenance/repairs prior to submission of payment invoices. May be required to make simple repairs and/or perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on Hospital vehicles. <br><br> Completes and maintains tasks on Hospital vehicles. <br><br> Completes and maintains all records as required by Hospital/Department policies and procedures. Assures the maintenance of a safe and sanitary environment. Provides escort and transportation services to adult, children and adolescent patients.</p><p>Qualifications</p><p>JOB SPECIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.</p><p>Education: High School Diploma perferred</p><p>Experience: Experience with patient transport preferred.</p><p>Licensure/Certification: Valid driver's license with verification of no more than one (1) accident on record for the preceding five (5) years, no more than two (2) moving violations for the preceding six (6) years, no reckless driving tickets and no DWI/DUI violations.</p><p>Knowledge: Ability to read, write, and speak the English language; ability to follow written and oral directions; ability to read and interpret maps and maintenance manuals.</p><p>Supervision Received: Transportation Supervisor and Chief Operating Officer</p><p>Supervision Exercised: None</p><p>Line of Promotion: Transportation Supervisor</p><p>Working Conditions: Exposure to psychiatric patients. <br><br> Risks associated with operation of motor vehicles and risks associated with routine repairs and maintenance of motor vehicles.
