Job Summary:

Safely operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment on an assigned route to service customers in a safe and efficient manner. Deliver collected solid waste to disposal site.

Essential Functions:

  • Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect solid waste on a specified collection route.

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and other documentation requested by supervisor daily.

  • Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately.

  • Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.

  • Operate truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate driver-induced mechanical failures.

  • Follow all safety standards, equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Comply with all federal, state, local and company rules on safety and vehicle operation including any required customer specific rules or regulations.

  • Communicate any potential hazards in serving/picking up container to Supervisor/Lead prior to performing task

  • Maintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exterior of vehicle.

Education, Training, Experience and Licensing/Certification Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.

  • Possess valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

  • One (1) year of satisfactory driving experience of Class A or B vehicles preferred.

  • Satisfactory driving record.

  • Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen and a criminal background check.

  • Must pass the Waste Industries written and road test evaluation.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, and smell.

  • Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus due to the constant maneuvering of vehicle in tight and high traffic areas.

  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.

  • Sitting is required up to 75% of the time due to the primary function of driving.

  • Ability to work in usually loud conditions.

The Web Development Specialist will report to the Web Development Manager and will a senior contributor to the web development function group. This role is expected to work with the manager in the creation of custom digital experiences on deloitte.com and related sites, ensuring Deloitte brand standards and web development best practices. What you'll do * Support and create engaging/modern user experiences per stakeholder's specifications in the form of clean, W3C-compliant front-end code. Focusing on web-standards, semantics, usability, accessibility, and optimization, with special consideration given to code architecture, modularity, and reusability. * Analytics tagging implementation. * Testing and documentation. * Aid and advise on processes, technology, and tools used for custom web development. * Be a point of contact for cross-functional technical projects and programs. These include project/program execution, requirements gathering, technical execution and deployment. * Support platform and IT related needs, such as product updates and site administration. * Identify improvements within the creative marketing process and capabilities. What you'll bring * 2 or more years of technical product and project experience delivering best-in-class digital media experiences, preferably as part of a team designing, developing and managing external business websites. * 3 or more years of experience as a web developer, high-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. It is not enough to implement a solution but to implement the best solution for a given context (You don't only know the how but the why). * Knowledge of UX, SEO, and performance best practices. * Familiarity with software repositories and other technical collaboration tools. * Experience with Content Management Systems (Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Marketing Cloud tools experience preferred but not required). * Ability to communicate priorities, mitigate impacts, and manage multiple technical projects especially when requirements change as new business discoveries or industry compliance dictate. * Strong people skills working with colleagues, project management, business stakeholders and technical advisors. * Continuous curiosity and love for learning. * Limited sponsorship may be available.
