Driver

Since 1997, AlphaStaff has provided HR outsourcing solutions to a diverse range of businesses, from emerging small businesses to established large-scale organizations. We are recruiting an Driver for a renowned client in Bladensburg, MD, known as an premier distributor of specialized construction products.

Position Summary:

The Driver will be responsible for delivering glass, mirror, plastics, glazing supplies and various related building products to our clients. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40 hours+ a week.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Carefully loading/unloading the truck with the help of the warehouse team and/or the client personnel.

• Delivering products to clients in a radius of up to 120 miles from our facility in Bladensburg, MD (including but not limited to VA, PA, DE, etc…).

• Adhering to all traffic laws while out for deliveries.

• Opportunity to learn use of company crane for added compensation (if interested/able).

• Ad hoc additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license.

• DOT Medical card (or ability to pass test to obtain).

• Ability to pass a drug test.

• Dependability is a must.

Compensation and Perks:

• Hourly rate between $16-$18/hour, commensurate with experience.
