Lyft is looking for a Driver Onboarding Manager who wants to revolutionize transportation by leading strategic efforts to improve the experience for riders and drivers across Lyft's services.

The role will be a blend of strategy and operational excellence and the mission is to improve fleet quality across US and CA. As a driver onboarding manager, you will work cross-functionally to shape the vision for fleet quality and build the operational infrastructure to support that vision. You will develop and launch key initiatives, as well as contribute to the success and learnings in future markets, through contribution to playbooks, organization capabilities and advising.

Responsibilities:

  • Run point on launching our professional black car service and set operational rhythms for all key stakeholders

  • Establish clear frameworks and structured processes to thoughtfully engage cross-functional partners across the project ideation and planning cycles. Incorporate business and product priorities, quantitative and qualitative insights

  • Support the build and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and metrics to evaluate program performance

  • Collaborate and closely partner with local and global operations to synthesize recommendations for product and engineering teams

Experience:

  • 4+ years of strategy and/or operations experience

  • Strong project management skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a get-it-done attitude

  • Experience building process from scratch and factoring in scalability

  • Proven experience as a systematic problem solver

  • Big picture thinker and can get into the weeds when necessary, and is able to understand overall business value and impact and prioritize accordingly

  • Experience working cross-functionally across many teams

  • Have (or are excited to develop) strong SQL skills
