Fall Drama Workshop with 6th grade students: An 8 week drama workshop, one hour per week (Fridays 2-3pm). Spring Play with 6th grade students:

Rehearsals are Thursdays and Fridays 2:00 - 3:00pm beginning in January through May. Play will be performed at the end of the school year for two nights, May 28 and May 29, 2025. The District will pay a stipend of $4,500.00 to select, plan, prepare, choreograph, block, create a costume plan, rehearse and communicate with staff, parents and students related to the Sixth Grade Drama Production for the 2024-2025 school year.

The stipend shall include no less than 42 hours of direct student instruction time structured at the time slots assigned in the Drama schedule. You may provide more direct instruction as needed to prepare for the performance at the times agreed to by and between you, the music teacher and the Superintendent/Principal. The program shall include the following components:

Audition and assign students for roles in the Spring play. Consult and coordinate appropriate costumes, props, lighting, and scenery. Set up of props, lighting and scenery prior to the dress rehearsal and performance dates. Striking and removal of all props, lighting and scenery within a reasonable time following the final performance date.
