Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guided Analysis and Design: You'll receive guidance and mentorship as you perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, calculations, and design, ensuring you have the tools and knowledge needed to tackle complex projects effectively.

  • Comprehensive Planning: You'll prepare plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. Our team is here to provide support every step of the way.

  • Detailed Quantity Calculations: We provide the necessary resources and expertise to help you calculate quantities and prepare precise engineering estimates, streamlining your workflow and enhancing project accuracy.

  • Technical Documentation Support: From technical reports to project memos, you'll prepare documentation, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications related to project development.

  • Efficient Project Organization: Our support extends to organizing and maintaining project files, enabling teams to focus on the task at hand while ensuring all project materials are readily accessible.

  • Flexible Task Assignments: We recognize the dynamic nature of the role and are committed to providing support for various assignments as needed, as you adapt to challenges and opportunities as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comprehensive Training and Development: You will be a Civil Engineering graduate and will likely have obtained your EIT status.

    Ideally, you will be a fully licensed PE in Arizona. We provide comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your professional status, including obtaining the Professional Engineer designation.

  • Expert Software Proficiency: You will bring expertise in the use of engineering design software. Our team offers support in mastering essential software such as MS Word, Excel, Civil 3D, and MicroStation, providing training and resources to enhance your proficiency.

  • Encouragement of Additional Skills: While GIS and QGIS experience is preferred, we offer support and resources for developing these skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

  • Emphasis on Communication and Writing Skills: We provide guidance and training to enhance your communication and technical writing skills, ensuring effective collaboration and clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Specialized Experience Support: Experience with FEMA submittals, FLO-2D, and HEC-RAS 2D is required. We offer resources and opportunities for training and gaining further experience in these areas, facilitating your professional development.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $74,000 - $131,000 annually for this position and local market.
