As a Drainage Engineer, you will assist with the development of transportation-focused drainage projects for public sector clients including counties, cities, and transportation departments. Be part of hydrologic modeling, hydraulic modeling, roadway drainage system layout and design, storm water permitting, and more. Complete and review design documentation with precision and expertise Promote team development by sharing knowledge and learning from others Manage tasks and/or projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery Supervise and train staff, fostering a culture of growth and learning Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to deliver exceptional results About You: 5 years of experience with drainage design and engineering Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering or Civil Engineering A Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) Proficiency with hydrologic or hydraulic modeling applications like HydroCAD, HY-8, SWMM Municipal or Department of Transportation (DOT) project experience a plus Our office has an onsite workout facility, golf simulator, free coffee/latte/cappuccino machines, restaurant, walking trails, outdoor basketball and pickleball courts, a pool, a bar, patio overlooking downtown Minneapolis.
