Drafting Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The draftsman will play a crucial role in our team by creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models based on samples for the manufacturing of rotating equipment parts. Equipment will include precision geared compressors, pumps, steam turbines and cryogenic expander turbines.

Working closely with other draftsmen and engineers, they will ensure designs meet industry standards and specifications. Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD, along with knowledge of how to use metrology tools, is essential.

Essential Functions

Create & edit detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models using Solidworks and AutoCAD software.

Collaborate with coworkers to understand design requirements and specifications.

Perform design reviews to prevent nonconformance and make necessary revisions.

Use metrology tools to validate and verify design dimensions and tolerances.

Maintain organized documentation of designs, revisions, and projects.
