Drafting Technician - Entry Level

We are currently seeking an entry-level Drafting Technician who is eager to learn and grow within the organization at our office in Grain Valley, MO. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented individual looking to start a career or gain experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Work closely with estimators and project managers to obtain information associated with job submittals

• Prepare drawings with the use of AutoCAD

• Complete drawings based on client requirements from review of initial technical blueprints through AutoCAD with adherence to established specifications

• Document all changes, issues, or communications related to jobs

Ideal qualifications for this position include:

• Experience with or knowledge of AutoCAD LT

• Strong organization and planning skills

• Strong attention to detail and quality of work

• The ability to work without oversight, and function in a team setting

• Will ask questions and research to find correct information

• Construction-related background is a plus
