Drafting Detailer/Checker

ACI Building Systems is looking for an experienced Steel Detailer/Checker to join our team. Basic Functions: • Producing construction anchor bolt, permit, and approval drawings • Producing Erection drawings and bill of materials for field construction use • Generating Shop Drawings for in-house fabrication • Checking work produced by other detailers Minimum Qualifications: • 2 years prior metal building detailing, structural steel detailing, or related experience • High School or GED Diploma • Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills • Must be legally authorized to work in the US Preferred Qualifications: • Associates Degree / Certificate with focus on Architecture, Steel Construction, or related field • Experience in MBS, AutoCAD, Tekla, Office 365 • Experience in the Metal Building Industry • Basic knowledge of standard construction practices and ability to read architectural plans • Exceptional computer skills and ability to learn new programs • Mini-Warehouse and Retro-fit Roofing knowledge are a plus.
