JOB REQUIREMENTS: DRAFTER/DESIGNER ($20.00 - $23.00/hour) FULL-TIME; DIRECT HIRE We have an immediate opening for an experience DRAFTER/DESIGNER for an established and growing Cabinet and Counter Company in the Green Bay, WI Area!

This is a FULL-TIME and DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY! We are looking for someone who is creative, detailed, responsible, and ready to grow with a motivated company.

Job Responsibilities:

Help draft and design cabinet layouts Communication with office staff on designs, changes and plans Reading blueprints Design work through in-house software

Qualifications:
1+ year experience Cabinet Vision or Autocad experience required Experience in woodworking, cabinet or similar industry Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work independently This is a Full Time, Direct Hire, Benefits eligible position. Normal business hours are Monday-Friday 6 am - 3:30 pm. All work is done in a climate-controlled shop environment.

Design and layout using 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) Create 2D drawings/layouts/schematics from 3D CAD models, markups, sketches Select materials and make drawing changes Size Air intake, Exhaust, and other sub-systems used on engines to meet Cummins requirements Create bill of materials for release to the Cummins business system Calculate and gather information to perform calculations for design of systems Communicate with vendors and customers to verify correct design calculations and customer specifications Assist manufacturing with technical issues, with direction from staff Perform other duties as assigned Associates degree and minimum two to three years related experience/training in Mechanical Design field or Bachelor's degree with good internship experience in Mechanical Design field Use of 2D design tool, Auto Cad or equal Use of 3D design tool, Creo/Pro-E preferred Electrical experience is preferred Understanding of stationary and mobile engine applications Read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Interpret a variety instructions furnished in a variety of forms Obtain accurate information from the customers/vendors through excellent communication skills Strong organization and time management skills Acute attention to detail Quality/Improvement Demonstrates commitment to and creative thinking for continuous improvement Commitment to task and results oriented Teamwork Work through conflict and use effective problem solving techniques Develop strong working relationships with manufacturing, vendors and other co-workers Leadership Demonstrated ability to be an effective team player Ability to positively react to change in an engineering and manufacturing environment Cummins and E-verify At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
