Drafter /Designer

Description:

Company that manufactures, delivers, and installs quality stairs, handrails, sculptures, and more! In this role, you will be responsible for transforming structural drawings and models into production drawings. • Leads modeling process; takes models and cuts into traditional drafting views; uses appropriate dimensions to create bill of material; processes individual part drawings. • Reads architectural drawings and compares to models. • Makes designs using computer-aided drafting systems to prepare drawings and designs. • Uses required drafting and mechanical drawing skills, and knowledge of computer-assisted drafting [CAD] equipment and software. • Manages files and organizes project files. • Updates drawings per direction efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES - Associate industrial, civil, structural engineering or construction design

• 1-3 years experience designing AutoCAD,

• Experience detailing in manufacturing, assembly, production and/or construction or structural building industries

• Experience reading and understanding blueprints, designs, and drawings

• Experience working with Customers and/or Vendor Interfacing
