Drafter

Description:

A company in West Michigan that manufacturers tanks for a multitude of industries is looking for a drafter to join their team. Company designs and manufacturers tanks for the Pharmaceutical, Waste Water Treatment, Food & Beverage, Agriculture and many other industries ranging in sizes from 14ft - 25 ft and at times smaller or larger ultimately based on customer demands.

• They will work with the engineers and sales engineers to gather product requirements for the designs, create detailed designs in inventor and may require minimal communication with customers as necessary.

• Majority of their time will be spent reading blueprints of the current designs, editing, modifying and reproducing designs to meet the standards of the customer.

• Utilize iLogic programming software which gives them the ability to automate how tanks are put together.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of drafting experience or 2+ years of experience with an Associates Degree

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

• Experience with a 3D CAD package

Nice to Have:

• iLogic programming or other CAD programming experience

• Associates or Certificate in Drafting / Design Technology

• Steel/Fiberglass Design experience
