Responsible for assisting the
Digital Equipment Leader in make-ready, operation, maintenance and housekeepingon the digital book line, keeping the line properly supplied with roll stock,performing accurate record keeping, for observance of safety rules, and all endof line disposition duties.
Assist the Press Technician as directed in the make-ready of the digital press line including make-ready and run of binding equipment.
Coordinateaccurate delivery of paper and prepare rolls for hanging and maintain completeconsumption records.
AssistPress Technician on run by following established quality inspection standards.
Practicegood paper conservation procedures and notify the Digital Equipment Leader ofdefective stock.
Completepaper verification checklists to ensure correct paper is being used.
Demonstratestrong team skills.
Perform other duties as requested by department supervision

Ability to work with solvents and inks.
Abilityto do basic mathematics and have sound mathematical reasoning.
Effectivecommunication skills & ability to interpret written and verbal instructionswith limited supervision.
Previoussuccessful operation of multi-function machines including computer proficiencyand electronics
Experienceusing mechanical hand tools and measurement devices (standard and metric)
Ability to work a rotating shift, weekends and overtime as needed
Mustbe willing and able to back fill for the Digital Equipment Leader.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Must be in good standing with no current final warnings
