Job Description

I. Major Responsibilities:

1.Provides project coordination support to project/program leaders in developing work plans and in monitoring and ensuring the timely implementation of all project deliverables. This may include but is not limited to researching information, analyzing data, providing data tools or survey tools, compiling information, arranging meetings/conferences, producing correspondence and reports.

2.Collaborates with designated team(s), department management and other stakeholders to communicate the purpose and processes of the project, facilitate and encourage participation, prepare materials for project meetings and document assigned tasks. Develops project schedule to identify project milestones, interim deliverables and accountabilities. Communicates expectations and tracks and reports project status to all key stakeholders.

3.Schedules, attends and participates in project and/or other meetings, distributes agenda and action items. Serves on designated committees and councils as necessary.

4.Maintains project tracking and provides status updates. Follow-up with team participants to ensure deadlines are maintained; communicates information to the team and external constituents/stakeholders. Identifies project risks and takes appropriate action, including escalation through defined internal and external channels, to mitigate such risks.

5.Prepare end-user tools, dashboards, presentations, summary reports and ongoing project evaluations. Maintains internal, external and end-user documentation for all phases of the projects. Provides training for systems as necessary.

Required:

1.Associate degree.

Preferred:

1.Bachelor's degree

Experience/Skills:

Required:

1.Two years related experience.

2.Excellent organization skills.

3.Ability to manage multiple assignments, projects, set priorities, and meet timeframes.

4.Ability to support projects through from conception to completion.

5.Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

6.Excellent written and verbal and presentation skills to facilitate workgroups, prepare materials, report summaries, and general communications.

7.Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and Power Point.

8.Basic knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodology.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
