About Cognizant's Digital Engineering Practice:

At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small cross functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. Small, nimble engineering teams generate collective empathy and comradery, thus increasing their ability to anticipate unforeseen development scope changes and maintain high quality deliverables. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant Digital Engineering provides DevOps engineers consistent opportunities to push digital boundaries while growing their exposure to transformational technologies.

The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and Solid experience on design, implementation, integrity, and support of enterprise architecture systems using .Net, WebAPI, MVC. Provides technical expertise, to include addressing and resolving complex technical issues includes Performance Improvement. Web Application Architect is to provide the overall technology guidance and structure for creating and maintaining the .Net web applications. Working in Agile framework is a added advantage. Good communication, technical skills are needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support high-end, reliable, performant, and scalable software solutions with a strong focus on the customer and delivering business value.

• Actively participate in a self-organized agile development team to prioritize and manage a large workload of development, maintenance, and support activity, and to continuously deliver high-quality results in an iterative fashion.

• Perform troubleshooting and resolve application/data issues working with client support and operations partners as necessary sometimes in non-business hours.

• Adhere to team policies and practices of secure development, code management, change management, and incident management.

• Learn and adapt to new technologies as necessary.

• Working in Agile framework is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• 7 to 9 years of coding experience in .Net Core, MVC, ASP.NET Core Web API development

• Experienced in application development using AWS, Azure or GCP (Certification desired)

• Enterprise experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

• Excellent communication skills and participates actively in team discussions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
