Requisition ID: 81521Primary Roles and Responsibilities * Transportation Compliance Manager with all aspects of development, implementation, standardization, and management of the Company's Transportation Compliance Programs, including CMV Files, DOT Driver Qualification Files and Drug/Alcohol Programs, Vehicle Inspections, Hours of Service, Driver training, etc.* DOT Compliance Manger with the development and implementation of standardized processes for Driver Background Checks, Pre-Employment Medical Screening & DOT Physicals, Previous Employer Release of Information, etc. in coordination & conjunction with Human Resources and Operations Personnel when applicable. * Work with Project Operations and Safety staff to support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, follow-up, and closure of action items, and leverage learning across organization for all vehicle accidents involving CMV's. * Work with Project Operations and Safety staff to implement and manage detailed, proactive systems to ensure compliance with Federal and State DOT regulations and Company requirements. * Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure effective and consistent implementation of regulatory and internal requirements at all company locations. * Review pending and upcoming changes to Federal & State DOT regulations to ensure the Company is prepared for future compliance requirements. * Work with Project Operations and Safety staff to prepare for and represent the Company during DOT audits. * Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications * Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal and State DOT, Health & Safety Regulations, including a working knowledge of the DOT Letters of Interpretation and other Regulatory Guidance. * Strong leadership and organization, with the ability to direct and achieve priorities, goals, and strategies with limited supervision. * Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other documents. * Proficient knowledge of computers and typical production software (e.g., MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Work Environment * Ability to work in both office and field environment, some travel required. * Travel Physical Requirements * Lifting, sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, etc. * Reading from a computer or laptop monitor for several hours including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources.About KiewitAs one of North America's largest, most respected construction and engineering organizations, with 2018 revenues of $9 billion, Kiewit exists to make a difference. VIEW JOBS 10/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-13T00:00 Requisition ID: 83431 The Off-Site Supplier Quality (OSSQ) Coordinator supports Kiewit Supply Network with Supplier Quality/Vendor Surveillance Coordination activities. The OSSQ Coordinator's primary responsibility is to coordinate the execution of project-specific inspections and test plans for off-site suppliers using internal and 3rd party inspectors, build inspection documentation packages for these inspectors, and ensure purchased materials and engineered equipment meet project procedures and contract requirements. Responsibilities * Have a working understanding of relevant manufacturing, fabrication, testing and functionality of equipment procured for the projects * Be able to read and understand contracts, datasheets, equipment specifications, codes and standards * Generate task orders and purchase orders for 3rd party inspection services * Facilitate the resolution of shop findings and working with engineering, the project team and the supplier in a timely manner * Have a basic knowledge of project quality procedures, ISO Quality Management System, audit processes, relevant documents and reporting structures * Coordinate dates and gather relevant documents for shop surveillance and inspections * Review supplier findings and NCR's and coordinate developing Supplier Corrective Actions plans. * Coordinate with engineering or project quality managers to approve final disposition * Ensure lessons learned and best practices are captured and documented * Build inspection documentation packages from multiple sources including Contracts, Material Requisitions, Project Technical Specifications, Datasheets, supplier drawing and data submittals for upcoming inspections. Accuracy and completeness of these packages is critical to the success of the inspection. * Travel up to 25% of time to attend pre-fabrication meetings at supplier facilities, expedite supplier's production schedule and provide issues resolution support when required. * Assist in the review of supplier submittals. Qualifications * 4-year bachelor's Engineering degree * Supplier quality experience preferred * A working knowledge of design and craft disciplines and plant equipment and materials associated with Energy, Infrastructure, and Oil & Gas projects and must be familiar with their associated special processes, inspections, and testing techniques * Detail oriented, flexible and highly motivated * Effective time management and organization skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Word, Excel) * Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity * Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt * Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills * Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives About Kiewit As one of North America's largest, most respected construction and engineering organizations, with 2018 revenues of $9 billion, Kiewit exists to make a difference.
