The Metropolitan Council's Occupational Health Department (A unit within Human Resources) has one (1) vacancy for a full-time DOT Drug and Alcohol Program Compliance Coordinator.
About the Department:
The Human Resources Occupational Health Unit (A unit within the Human Resources Dept.) promotes a safe and healthy workplace for employees, their family members, and the public who are impacted by the workplace environment. We believe healthy employees are key to the success of the Metropolitan Council. Human Resourcesworks with all divisions of the Metropolitan Council to provide proactive solutions for the Council's workforce needs in the areas of recruitment, hiring, labor relations, benefits, training, organizational development, occupational health, and wellness.
How your work would contribute to our organization and the Twin Cities region:
The DOT Drug and Alcohol Program Compliance Coordinator,provides regulatory oversight, administration, implementation, and operation of the Council's Federal Drug-Free Workplace Program, DOT Drug and Alcohol Programs, and non-DOT testing conducted per Minnesota Statute. This position also acts as one of the Council's Designated Employer Representatives, which requires on-call availability on a rotating basis.
This position is eligible for a hybrid (some remote and frequent onsite) telework arrangement. The candidate's permanent residence must be in Minnesota or Wisconsin.

Education/Experience
Any of the following combinations of experience in a DOT drug and alcohol program coordinator/administrator role, including managing FMCSA programs and testing and completed education (degree field of study transportation management, safety management, logistics, business management, project management, or a related field):
This position requires a valid Driver's License.

Full Salary Range: $34.70-$52.36 Hourly/$72,176 - $108,909 Annually
