It is the primary responsibility of the Doorman is to provide excellent customer service and create a safe and friendly environment for the guests. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.
Write tickets for baggage and help with luggage.
Check guests in and out of hotel rooms.
Work the bell podium by taking tickets for baggage and any items left by the guest and answering guest's questions.
Posting at the main doors and the bell podium and assisting guests by opening the doors and displaying a professional appearance.
Assist guests in groups who have pre-paid for luggage services and deliver group baggage to guests.
Deliver all types of room drops including magazines, gifts, laundry and other items.
Maintain a clean work area for both guests and staff.
Provide excellent customer service consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes.
Perform all other job related duties as requested.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
At least 6 months of front services experience.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
