Our donor center is in need of a Donor Center Director who is strong at leading staff in achieving operational results and meeting quality goals. DONOR CENTER DIRECTOR LEADERSHIP - OPERATIONS

Job Responsibilities

As the Donor Center Director, you are responsible for leading and managing the donor center staff in the collection of plasma from our donors, including production, quality compliance, financial performance, HR and IT. Key responsibilities include:

Additional responsibilities of the Donor Center Director role include:

  • Meeting or exceeding production goals and center budget.

  • Hiring and training staff, developing employees for promotional opportunities, and managing staff performance.

  • Complying with federal, state, local and company-specific regulations, including FDA and OSHA.

  • Developing a high level of customer service to our donors.

  • Developing and executing marketing plans to increase the number of new donors and retain existing donors.

  • Maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support production.

  • Shipping plasma products per shipping schedules and standard operating procedures.

  • Maintaining a safe work environment for both employees and donors.

Requirements

DONOR CENTER DIRECTOR LEADERSHIP - OPERATIONS

Job Requirements

  • Minimum three year's management/supervisory experience required.

  • Previous work experience demonstrating decision making ability, ability to lead, effectively communicate with and positively influence people, familiarity with fiscal operations, conflict resolution, ability to problem solve, and customer service.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Ability to obtain certification in the technical donor center positions within six months required.

  • Ability to plan and organize work, work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

  • Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

This is accomplished by committing to banker readiness, conducting marketing activities leading to revenue growth in loans, deposits and noninterest income, contributing to a successful customer centric experience, proactively managing disciplined operational risk activities while striving for excellence in execution in each of the mentioned areas. They will also provide effective leadership in all areas. This position's work schedule involves occasional evenings and Saturdays. This position is responsible for the overall leadership, management and success of a Retail Banking Center. Responsibilities Marketing Activities: * Leads, coaches, evaluates, executes and impacts the proactive marketing activities for the attraction, expansion, and retention of customers. * Using a Banking Center Daily Plan, determines, coordinates and proactive marketing activities of the team and individual colleagues. Provides daily coaching and evaluations for effective execution. * Provides effective New Customer Onboarding and Customer Engagement by, in part, routinely strengthening new and current customer relationships, introducing new and existing customers to Comerica's products and services, and addressing customer questions. * Manages the acquisition of consumer and business clients through the effective use of targeted leads, self-sourcing new business, managing referral source relationships, and implementing and executing value-added financial presentations. * Leads Portfolio Management efforts to retain and expand current portfolio customers by deepening the customer relationship and increasing the number of portfolio customers in the Banking Center. * Impact revenue growth of the Banking Center. * Other duties as assigned. Talent Leadership: * Develop and manage a high-performing team. Directly manage the Human Resources processes for employees, including selection, training, performance management, disciplinary actions, individual career development, recognition and retention. * Other duties as assigned. Operational Risk: * Accountable for the compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations; and Comerica policies and procedures.
