Your responsibilities as Domain Architect:

  • Develop high-level architecture of information systems in the Crop Protection and Regulatory and Stewardship domains

  • Translate domain vision and strategy into a systems architecture vision that allows planning project portfolios aligned with overall DSI strategy

  • Develop, deliver, and evangelize end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide the evolution of software and services by applying depth and breadth of expertise in multiple related disciplines

  • Compile and implement architectural governance standards across development teams within several business domains to drive compliance with architectural guardrails that support the needs of products teams to reliably launch products and services

  • Participate in defining domain strategy and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture strategy

  • Provide guidance and direction to project teams to ensure compliance with the standards and best practices

  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and techniques for application system and service development

  • Prepare and maintain documents, including architecture diagrams, data models, and navigation mapping within business domains

  • Analyze and prepare recommendations to address existing and potential trouble areas in systems and procedures

  • Proactively interact with the business leadership to integrate knowledge of the business and functional priorities with the domain roadmap

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of Architecture related experience

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related

  • Understanding of OOP and Architectural principles and best practices

  • Solid understanding and experience in microservices and event-based distributed systems architecture

  • Experience designing or developing cloud-based distributed systems a plus

  • Awareness of modern security standards and protocols including OIDC & OAuth, SAML, XACML, and others

  • Software Engineering background preferred

  • Experience translating processes and requirements into system and data models, including strong API design skills

  • Experience in a life-sciences environment preferred

Solution architects have deep technical abilities to design and build technology solutions in service to business needs. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities * Create and maintain architectural design documentation in line with Salesforce best practices and Corteva's CRM product vision and business objectives * Ensure defined CRM architecture roadmap aligns with enterprise standards * Ensure development of application follows defined CRM architecture * Analyze new requests and define non-functional requirements and create solution design and architecture * Design user focused and innovative Salesforce solutions involving configuration of Salesforce, AppExchange packages, creation of complex data models, external integration, business process automation and custom functionality to solve business requirements * Act as technical visionary and strategist for CRM product and interfacing applications by working with other Solution Architects and Primary Developers * Act as a trusted advisor to the Technical Product Manager by seeing the big picture and translating business strategies into actionable technical roadmaps and project plans * Partner with development teams to deliver project objectives through iterative delivery by offering expertise in solution design * Partner with Security team to ensure Salesforce platform is configured with security best practices in mind * Identify risks or issues with technology solution and design which may impact realization or project benefits and provides guidance and support to stakeholders in making good decisions to pro-actively resolve or mitigate potential risks/delays to project * Stay informed on Salesforce releases and acquisitions to help drive CRM product roadmap * Promote the company's technology brand through creative thinking, and constantly raising the bar of what's possible Qualifications Position Requirements * Proficiency in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Administration, VisualForce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, APEX, Force.com, AppExchange deployment * Einstein Analytics and Salesforce Mobile experience preferred * Experience with enterprise-level, global Salesforce implementations preferred * Experience with data migrations and integrations * Passionate about customer experience * Experience working with Agile methodologies * Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders * Excellent teamwork, communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills * Excellent leadership and influencing skills Experience and Education Requirements * 5+ years Salesforce experience * 3+ years Salesforce Solution Architect experience * Relevant Salesforce certifications, a plus * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent work experience Corteva, Inc.
