Senior Loan Specialist (Closer), for either Los Angeles or Irvine, CA # 041424

California Bank & Trust a division of ZB N.A. is currently seeking a loan documentation professional for the role of Senior Middle Office Loan Specialist, for either Los Angeles or Irvine, CA.

The successful incumbent will perform the following essential job functions:

  • Work directly with lending teams to collect, review and distribute approved loan due diligence items necessary for loan documentation preparation.

  • Ensure appropriate fees and expenses are recorded accurately.

  • Notify lending team of missing/incorrect items requiring action.

  • Work directly with loan operations or outside counsel to ensure loan documents are prepared in accordance with credit approval, loan documentation standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Review executed loan packages for accuracy and to ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements.

  • Ensure appropriate approval and/or waivers and exceptions are obtained.

  • Submit the final loan package to loan operations for funding and boarding.

  • Other duties as assigned.
