The Documentation Specialist will support NAVAIR JCMIS.

This position performs analysis and update information systems such as, but not limited to, TM Application System (TMAPS), Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS), Joint Engineering Data Management Information Control System (JEDMICS), Technical Directive Reporting System (TDRS), and Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA).

Typical assignments include:

  • All aspects of management, operation, and data entry for the NAVAIR CMIS SRCs, ASRs, and MSRs repository.

  • Review, collate, transpose and convert rework data from SRCs, ASRs, MSRs, and other source data and provide data entry to NAVAIR CMIS as required by the NAMP.

  • Provide timely and accurate data entry to NAVAIR CMIS. This shall include, but not limited to data entry and integrity system reporting and data retrieval.

  • Conduct audits, as directed by the TCOR, to ensure the accuracy and quality of data entry and collect information related to error rates, non-compliant source data, and establish standards for data entry.

Required Skills


Requires a high school diploma or GED.


Adequate experience performing the duties of the position described under Job Description.


Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel

Excellent typing speed (60+ WPM)

Must be an US Citizen

Active secret clearance preferred; must possess ability to obtain and maintain a CAC
