Responsibilities and Duties

  • Edit, type, and prepare memoranda of a technical and/or managerial nature.

  • Maintain logs relating to work in progress, meetings, etc.

  • Prepare specialized communications, maintain logs on communications sent and received, arrange and log special shipments of records.

  • Develop flow diagrams, configuration drawings, functional systems flow diagrams, graphics, etc.

  • Knowledgeable in the use of word processing software and the use of advanced software features such as style sheets and macros.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related area; and two (2) or more years of progressive experience in the field or in a related area.

  • Excellent briefing, writing, communication, administrative and organizational skills.

  • Must demonstrate ability to take initiative and to work independently, under stringent timelines and as member of a team.

  • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.

VIEW JOBS 8/19/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-11-17T00:00 Document Control Specialist Job description The document control specialist position collects, maintains and distributes all documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes that insure conformance to customer requirements; develops and maintains a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center; manages the operation of the document control center to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Responsibilities* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the QMS software system. * Collect and maintain files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes. * Timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution. * Support Document Change Order (DCO) processes; word-process final version of new or revised documents for approval. * Maintain, document and provide feedback on the Document Control system with high level of ability in QMS, document formatting, and accuracy. * Train personnel on the Document Control process in the quality compliance and management system with customer-service orientation to optimize workflow and tracking as well as resolve documentation issues. * Generate weekly reports to communicate outstanding documents, cycle times, and overall efficiency measures for identification of bottlenecks * Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
