ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Project Support Specialist (USMC Technical Documentation) to join our team in Stafford VA to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. The project support specialist will provide support in drafting and maintaining documentation, configuration management, inventory, testing, and other duties to keep the team and project on schedule.

This position requires an active DOD TS/SCI clearance.

Knowledge/Experience:

Should have experience preparing and/or maintaining technical systems or program documentation for either five (5) years (with a Bachelor's Degree), seven (7) years (with an Associate's Degree), or twelve (12) years (with a High School Diploma).

Should also have at least three (3) years' experience in support of DoD programs having the Integrated Defense AT&L Lifecycle Management Framework and experience with ensuring adherence to master plans and schedules, and developing solutions to program problems are required.

Knowledge of the Integrated AT&L framework documentation, DoD 5000, CMMI, ISO 9000, managing resources and maintaining current project plans.

DAU (or other equivalent program) Level I certification requirements in Program Management or Acquisition are preferred.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide technical documentation support to the customer, to include RMF, Acquisition, Lifecycle, Testing, Engineering, and Logistics documents.

  • Develop Engineering Change Proposal packages.

  • Maintain CM software tracking baseline.

  • Maintain unclassified and classified inventory.

  • Provide and participate in Assessment and Authorization support for the projects.

  • Create move orders, shipping documents.

  • Attend meetings; capture and prepare meeting minutes, provide presentation/briefing support.

  • Provide purchasing support, to include creating purchase requests and obtaining quotes.

  • Assist engineers and testers with test plans, cases, and performing developmental tests, functional tests.

  • Project SharePoint document maintenance.

  • Some travel possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (+5 year experience), Associate's Degree (+7 years' experience), or High School Diploma (+12 years' experience).
