Document Service Representative II
Working under the direct supervision of a lead, this is an entry-level position that requires the execution of routine and repetitive tasks documented by detailed written procedures. The associate will perform a variety of non-complex functions to maintain paper, fiche, and electronic files, including the capture and retrieval of documents associated with policy and agent contracts.
Minimum Education & Experience
High School Diploma.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carryout detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Core Skills & Knowledge
Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management and adapt easily to new situations.
Ability to use a computer to access the CNO Home Page Intranet and Microsoft Outlook to access email.
Ability to sort documents alphabetically and numerically.
Ability to perform basic data entry (alpha-numeric).
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
The Document Specialist will perform one or more of the following functions
Sort incoming mail by product line, company, and type of work and ensure documents have correct information to be processed.
Prep documents for scanning.
Index documents (data-entry).
Perform courier duties.
Pull files on fiche and film, operate fiche scanner, operate roll film scanner, order, and assign files off the Kovis film system.
