  • The Document Manager II shall provide document management services for the Security Exchange Commission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • File, retrieve and copy file materials; to include but not limited to creating binders (i.e. Witness binders);

  • Assist in preparing deposition and trial exhibits;

  • Enters data on-line to case files and/or other SEC databases;

  • Proofread, edit, correct text files created using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) programs such as Adobe Acrobat;

  • Retrieve documents from microfilm and digital image media; tabs, numbers, labels, assembles documents;

  • Fill out log sheets and reports on task progress; and may perform quality control on the work of peers in all of these areas.

  • Prepare documents for image scanning; performs other document collection related activities, including document screening, and labeling of files to be scanned.

  • Performs simple and/or complex database searches.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Four-year degree, Master's degree, and/or certification(s) in a related labor category field from an accredited college, university, school or educational institution that has been accredited by accrediting bodies or organizations recognized by the US Department of Education

  • Three (3) years of relevant technical experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to work effectively in an extremely pressured environment.

  • Must have and use excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft 2010 or newer programs.

  • Ability to provide favorable credit history

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Job Summary This position will be a key contributor to the Company's external SEC filings function. This position reports to the Director, SEC Reporting Responsibilities: * Assist with preparation of SEC filings, including Form 10-Q's, Form 10-K, and Form 8-K's and related XBRL reporting within Workiva * Assist in researching US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements with the ability to analyze new and proposed accounting standards, as well as prepare competitor benchmarking * Prepares and assists with support documentation associated with SEC filings, including US GAAP Disclosure checklists * Supports and reviews the company's annual proxy ensuring accuracy of applicable financial information * Participates in the evaluation and determination of significant and complex transactions and how the financial statements and disclosures will be impacted * This role will require frequent interaction with management personnel at all levels of our organization, including Investor Relations, FP&A, Legal, Tax, Treasury and each of our domestic and international business units in order to ensure the accuracy of information included in each of our public filings. * Supports team with global data gathering, review and analysis process for Non-GAAP measures * Assists with driving process improvements within the team and support cross-functional projects * Fulfills internal and external audit requests effectively and efficiently * Ad hoc projects as needed Required Experience & Education * Typically requires 7+ years accounting or finance experience * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field * Certified Public Accountant, or equivalent work experience Critical Skills * Minimum 3+ years of public accounting (Big 4 highly preferred) * Experience in SEC reporting, preferably in a large, complex global business * Comprehensive understanding of SEC rules & regulations, technical accounting, GAAP vs non-GAAP accounting, and comment letter processes * Cultivates and maintains a priority around transparency, accuracy, diligence, timeliness, and teamwork * Collaborates with business unit controllers, technical accounting, accounting centers of excellence, financial reporting, tax, treasury, investor relations, FP&A, legal, and other finance and business functions as needed * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently, manage, and prioritize various responsibilities * Strong systems skills (e.g. SAP, HFM, Workiva, etc) Physical Requirements Must have ability to travel up to 20% of the time Job Location Alpharetta, GA Job Level: P4 Benefits & Company Statement McKesson believes superior performance – individual and team – that helps us drive innovations and solutions to promote better health should be recognized and rewarded.
