This individual will have day to day accountability for Document Operations across our Mortgage portfolio. Responsible for formulating tactical plans and working with the VP Document Management to help set strategic plans. This individual will develop operating plans, procedures, and capacity plans to ensure proper servicing of accounts with focus on anticipated business growth.
What You Will Do:
Ensure all work is performed within client guidelines, legal requirements, compliance and regulatory requirements.
Work with VP and assist in translating business vision and strategy into operational tactics and building the organizational support and infrastructure needed to achieve them.
Develop effective processes with appropriate automation and controls that prevent non-compliance issues, provide consistent customer experience and drive operational efficiencies.
Establish strong operating metrics to monitor operational effectiveness and develop a management process to utilize the metrics to drive operational improvements.
Work with the VP to build a high performing documents team with an overall alignment to the department vision; focusing on associate care and development, clear communication, talent management, and frequent recognition.
Communicate portfolio performance to executive management.
Pull and review reports and distribute work and performance information to staff
Train and educate bankruptcy team and provide feedback in performance appraisals and development plans
Manage to productivity and quality metrics
Monitor team performance in handling of intercoms, issues, and holds
Analyze information and make appropriate recommendation on actions
Monitor work for compliance to all Company policies and procedures, investor guidelines, laws, and regulators
What We Look For:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years in a management position with significant responsibility in managing mortgage documents.
5+ years of experience using LPS Desktop and or MSP and also document image systems.
Excellent team player and able to work independently or with a team to accomplish goals and objectives.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to influence and drive results.
Strong Leadership and People Management Skills.
Ability to work in high pressure environment.
Ability to travel occasionally.
