Document Control Specialist - Offshore Wind
The position plays a critical role in ensuring that the accuracy and quality of project-related documents are maintained. The role has significant interaction with all functions of Project management Team (PMT), EPC contractors, Licensors, Vendors and Customers.
As a key member of the Offshore Wind Team, responsibilities include collection, retaining, retrieving, distribution and transmittal of new build vessel and project documents including reference documents, engineering drawings, equipment operations manuals, quality records and any other project records or newbuild vessel documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the accuracy and quality of all hard copy documents. Ensure latest revisions of documents are available to all parties
Maintain project distribution matrix
Edit and update documents to meet company standard formats and numbering systems
Support and provide instruction on work processes and systems for the PMT as required.
Support Contract and Document Control Compliance initiatives defined by Company to ensure that file systems information is up to date and organized.
Support Document Control Planning for Vessel and PMT requirements for Document Control processes and procedures.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of the workflow process for documentation within the Company document management system (as applicable).
Identify opportunities within document management to integrate effective workflow processes for the PMT.
Receive, review, and distribute project documentation received from the project and vessel build teams in a timely manner to the Project Management Teams as required.
Work to maintain accurate records of documentation process flows within the document management system.
Minimum experience required for the position
2+ years experience as a Document Controller in a project organization, either on the EPC or client side.
Previous experience in managing electronic and online document management systems including managing dual numbering systems (Client & Company)
Basic understanding of construction projects, nomenclature, documentation system and associated file numbering configurations
Preferably experience with document control Software (ProArc, Prolog, eB, Bentley, etc.)
Strong MS Office Skill set (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization to ensure clarity in expectations requirements, and deliverables.
Excellent analytical, reporting and time management skills.
