The Document Control Specialist will work closely with High Temperature Composites (HTC) Quality Manager and personnel to implement a new management system. Implements an audits quality control programs. Recommends changes to methods and procedures to improve quality of output based on analysis.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Create checklists that capture the requirements of several Group Procedures (GP)

  • Conduct Gap Analysis by working with HTC subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand HTC's approach for complying with the GP requirements

  • Implement new quality procedures

  • Conduct internal audits after processes are implemented to assess level of compliance

  • Assist with corrective actions arising from internal audit findings.

  • Interpretation of complex technical data

  • Collect appropriate engineering data for usage in databases and conduct related research

  • Research databases, intranet, and other data sources for relevant information

  • Identify accurate variables from original information or data and complete and analysis as required

  • Collate all found data into single package for further analysis

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must have experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • Experience writing work instructions or procedures

  • Experience with auditing QMS procedures and work instructions as well as corrective/preventive action is preferred

  • Must be detail oriented with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to understand and analyze various types of engineering data

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality

  • Must value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment

  • Able to show initiative, good judgment and resourcefulness

JOB SUMMARY: Administers the controls of schedules on contracts requiring a validated Earned Value Management System (Cost schedule control system). Under limited supervision and working within broad established guidelines and procedures, plans for the orderly completion of objectives on assigned programs. Prepares integrated schedules for all budgeted work, incorporates changes, challenges inputs to the schedules from the cost account managers, and aggressively resolves issues. Helps in development and preparation of formal project-level Master Schedules. Obtains, analyzes, and incorporates monthly status information and prepares accompanying narrative reports. Types of schedules to include Gantt charts, network diagrams, and milestones schedules. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
