VIEW JOBS 8/10/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-11-08T00:00 <p>The successful candidate will be working within the Quality Management team and focus on product quality data collecting, analyzing and monitoring in each stage of product lifecycle to support quality management team addressing quality issues and improving product quality from NPI to after sale. Proven capability and skill sets on working with design teams to address and resolve product quality issues, the candidate also needs to have proven track records on product quality control, engineering process improvement and quality statistic data analysis.</p><p>The position is based in Sunnyvale, CA, USA</p><p>Job Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Work with HW PM and R&amp;D teams to track and monitor the quality status of NPI models in each development phase to ensure LPA quality requirements meet.</p></li><li><p>Collect and maintain product quality data (HW &amp; SW) in each product stage such as NPI, PQC, IQC, RMA etc. for key product lines and identify major product failure modes through quality data statistical analysis.</p></li><li><p>Identify quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, define feasible and meaningful goals, and drive quality initiatives and corrective actions for results.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with HW/SW design teams to address quality issues of key product lines identified in NPI phase, mass production phase and after sale.</p></li><li><p>Track and maintain product quality related RCA, CAR/PAR tickets; build and maintain a valuable lessons learnt quality database and provide valuable quality feedback and suggestions to design teams through quality case study and failure analysis.</p></li><li><p>Play a key role to leverage internal resources to support Technical Support teams to address customer escalated product quality issues.</p></li><li><p>Perform data mining and follow up with both in-house design team and off-shore OEM partner/supplier to support root cause analysis in situations where quality data are not readily available.</p></li><li><p>Support functional teams' business needs to create processes as part of QMS per team's requests.</p></li><li><p>Proactively initiate and execute new ideas to improve products and processes quality. Perform internal audit as necessary, and involve and support annual ISO external audit.</p></li></ul><p>Job Skills Required</p><ul><li><p>10+ years of professional experience in IT or related industry, including 3+ years project management experience with continuous process and quality improvement focus.</p></li><li><p>Solid background in hardware and software engineering practice in the meantime grasps a good understanding of hardware design and manufacturing process.</p></li><li><p>Solid knowledge of networking, routing, switching, firewalls, routers, etc.</p></li><li><p>Previous hands on experience in identifying product failure modes and conducting root cause analysis is required.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience of using scripting tools (e.g. pl, Python, etc.) for product quality data analysis is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience of participating in ISO audit is a plus.</p></li><li><p>A professional attitude and fastidious attention to details.</p></li><li><p>Self-motivated, multi-tasking, ability to work alone, or in a team and under pressure.</p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal and written communications and people skills.</p></li></ul><p>Educational Requirements</p><ul><li>Bachelor or Master degree in Comp.
