G.A. West & Co. is seeking a Document Control & Enforcement Specialist for Safety and HR. This is a full-time, long-term opening at our office in Creola, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
Learn and perfect the functionality of G.A. West's document management software, DocuWare
Take on a lead role in the DocuWare implementation for the Safety and HR departments
Take on a lead role in developing DocuWare workflows for the Safety and HR departments
Assist corporate Document Control Manager in maintaining the DocuWare system and workflows; troubleshoot issues for Safety and HR departments as needed
Learn and become SME for document control standards in order to make sound decisions concerning the integrity of documents
Learn and become SME (high-level) for Safety and HR policies and processes; enforce document standards, compliance, and organization
Audit DocuWare to ensure Safety and HR documents are accurately filled out and indexed
Audit DocuWare to ensure Safety and HR documents are being entered into the system daily by the Safety and HR departments
Analyze job numbers and man-hours against documents received to provide feedback to owner for jobs that are out of compliance for required documents
Learn and perfect the functionality of our telematics software, Teletrac Navman
Monitor Teletrac daily for enforcement of safety policies within G.A. West vehicles
Log and acknowledge every violation within Teletrac and determine action needed based on certain violation criteria
Be the lead in preparing and issuing Teletrac reprimands to employees in violation of safety policies within G.A. West vehicles
Answer directly to and assist the corporate Document Control Manager with varying projects concerning Safety and HR
Put effort into improving and automating (if applicable) all document control policies for Safety and HR
