Controls quality systems documentation, manages LPA, supports internal QMS audits and monitors progress of follow-ups for corrective actions. In addition to quality, provides administrative support to the Engineering department as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages all quality systems documentation by maintaining integrity and consistency of document and data control.
Manages Layered Process Audit (LPA) program.
Supports internal QMS Audit program by issuing audit packets, tracking completion, and managing files.
Supports response to customer requested information such as new supplier forms and quality surveys, as well as, various compliance documentation.
Supports the completion of any 2nd party systems inquiries (surveys, agreements, etc.).
Conducts document revision training as required.
Participates in departmental and cross functional teams on continuous improvement activities.
Reviews, evaluates, and processes document control ECNs accurately and in a timely manner.
Understands and is able to apply the Quality System Regulations in daily work.
Manages document control internal projects/assignments that support continuous improvement efforts and department/company goals.
Provides guidance and communication to document originators to share best practices and to resolve change issues and/or discrepancies.
Supports engineering in maintaining the engineering vault as needed.
Education / Experience:
High school diploma and/or equivalent necessary, higher education preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience in document control or other detail related position.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
