Overview

Currently, Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) provides expert solutions in Advanced Technology, Research and Development Services, Cyber Security, Intelligence Analysis and Operations, Healthcare, and Mission Systems to a variety of customers across the Federal Civilian, Intelligence, Department of Defense, and Healthcare sectors.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Enforcement Program Requires professional technical support to assist operations and business processes. The key enforcement program offices are the Office of Vehicle Safety Compliance (OVSC) and the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI). The successful candidate will provide technical program support services to maintain existing processes, provide management overview of task order to higher management, and provide planning and implementation support services for future process improvement investments within the NHTSA Enforcement Program offices.

Responsibilities

Provide document analyst support services to the NHTSA:

  • Must be proficient with word processing, correspondence controls, and data entry in a relational data base.

  • Assist NHTSA officials in the preparation of documents and the entry of data associated with NHTSA tests, data analysis and correspondence.

  • Leverage good organizational skills, superior spelling, grammar, and editing; and good verbal/written communication skills as needed in order to fulfil agency assignments and goals.

  • Ability to thoroughly research issues and develop solutions to complex problems.

  • Proven ability to lead task and work with multi-functional work teams.

  • Identifies and solves task issues effectively

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or Equivalent

  • Strong management skills

  • Strong PC knowledge. Must be proficient with word processing,

  • Strong correspondence controls and data entry in a relational database.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Superior spelling, grammar and editing;

  • Superior verbal/written communication skills are necessary.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree is preferred

Qualifications * Must be able to obtain a government security clearance. * One year of experience on major litigation support projects or undergraduate degree. * Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment. * Must have excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities. * Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Oracle, Concordance, Summation, Trial Director, etc. * Should be a knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems. * Litigation support experience preferred. * Spanish language skills preferred.
