About the Position: This position serves as the lead Doctrine Developer/ Analyst within the Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate, with duty assignment at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The position is entrusted with full responsibility of focusing work efforts on strategic operations, operational planning requirements, intelligence operations, command and control.

Prepares and coordinates assigned doctrinal materials.
Prepares briefings and status reports on doctrinal products being researched and developed.
Develops concepts as blueprints that describe and focus the Army's future capabilities and requirements emanating from tactical to strategic level operations.
Conducts special research and produces studies to assist development of doctrine and doctrinal concepts for future joint and Army operations.
Reviews, analyzes, and provides comments and recommendations on documents relating to proposed employment doctrine, organizational changes, equipment developments, and new concepts
Monitor research efforts of proponent schools, battle labs, civilian agencies and other services.
Prepares and presents briefings and training based on research and study findings.
Develops doctrine related to joint, multinational and Army operations within the Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate doctrinal proponent responsibilities.
Evaluates, comments on, and makes recommendations on doctrinal concepts, requirements, and materials resulting from such studies.
Occasional travel - This position has a business travel requirement of approximately 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing, revising and/or developing collective and/or combat and warfighting doctrine; experience compiling, analyzing, and presenting information related to collective training and/or combined arms doctrine; ability to prepare and present briefings and other correspondence to various audiences and staff levels; analyzing and evaluating strategical, tactical, operational doctrine to identify collective tasks, shortfalls or gaps.
