The university strives to provide all students with an exceptional education that's accessible, affordable, and creative to the core.Job SummaryThis position is for a doctoral fellow (preferred) or graduate assistant that works 19 hours per week and reports to the Associate Dean for Education. The position is contingent upon acceptance to a graduate program at Columbus State University, and this acceptance is expected prior to an interview. This assistant may also provide some assistance to the Executive Director of Assessment and the Director of Data Management in the COEHP.Responsibilities * Assist supervisor(s) with various administrative tasks. * Assist supervisor(s) with research projects and some online course management responsibilities. * Assist with data input and management. * Assist with recruitment and retention efforts. * Conduct literature searches related to research projects. * Attend meetings and training sessions scheduled by the supervisor.*
  • Required Qualifications * Excellent organizational skills. * Exceptional interpersonal skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Basic computer literacy, including knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google platform appsPreferred Qualifications * Knowledge and expertise with quantitative and qualitative research, including software (e.g. SPSS, Nvivo). * Enrolled in a graduate program in the College of Education & Health Professions; enrollment in a doctoral program at CSU is preferred..Proposed SalaryThe salary is commensurate with education and experience. This position can work up to 19 hours per week.
