Dock Attendant

Designed to encompass an entire city block, Thompson Dallas offers 219 guestrooms including 52 suites, 2 defining dining options and 20,000 sq feet of stunning event space.

The Dock Attendant s responsible for checking in all incoming product and guest packages. This person is also responsible for shipping guest packages and in house needs.

• Verify PO's and match incoming orders for accurate product and prices

• Maintain loading dock neat, orderly and clean.

• Rotating stock in kitchen areas

• Deliver packages to corrosponding areas of the hotel

• Maintain guest package log

• Performs other job-related duties as directed.

• At least one year experience in a Receiving Clerk role

• Birchstreet knowledge preferred

• Hospitality background preferred

• Must be able to work well under pressure.

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

• Ability to lift a moderate amount of weight

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
