Position Purpose:

The position performs the processing of vehicle registrations. Handles the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles. Verifies costs for the accounting department, including equipment add-ons.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will titled.

• Prepares title documents verity customer's purchase agreement.

• Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles on a daily basics.

• Verifies the funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid before processing title.

• Maintains a system to verify out-of-state-titles.

• Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.

• Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles.

• Reconciles DMV schedule weekly, following up on titles.

• Processes yearly renewal of dealer rentals and company vehicles.

• Maintains inventory of in-house plates and sticker.

• Stays abreast of title regulations. Attends seminars held by local licensing bureaus and available training on title regulations.

• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years experience required

• High School Diploma or higher

• Self-motivated and diligent.

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.

• Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor.

• Must have good work ethic including maintaining a neat work area.

Salary/Pay Range: $25 - $30/Hour
