DMH Grant Program Administrator - Limited Service

Overview

The Department of Mental Health is seeking a dynamic and qualified limited-service half-time program manager for a federal award from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) entitled "Pediatric Mental Health Care Access - New Area Expansion." Award period is through 9/29/2026. Pediatric Mental Health Care Access (PMHCA) programs promote mental health integration into pediatric primary care by supporting initiatives that provide tele-consultation, training, technical assistance, and care coordination to primary care providers as they seek to diagnose, treat, and refer children with mental health conditions.

The Vermont PMHCA project supports the state's efforts to deliver timely and high-quality mental health care to youth within the primary care setting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team and oversee a federally funded project that will engage partners across state government, university, and health care providers, and coordinate at the national level with similar projects. As a key member of the Vermont PMCHA team, the ideal candidate would have experience in grant management, problem-solving orientation, excellent writing and organizational skills, attention to detail, familiarity with the healthcare realm, and a desire to innovate and ultimately advise on opportunities to advance PMHCA's impact statewide.
